Vastu Shastra is also significant in hotels, motels, restaurants, cafes, resorts, and making small alterations can prove beneficial by attracting more guests. Proper implementation of Vastu principles can lead to an increase in the number of guests. On the other hand, if a hotel’s infrastructure is built in the wrong way, it may struggle to attract visitors even if it appears grand.
Before constructing a hotel, it is essential to consult a Vastu expert to ensure that the construction is done in accordance with Vastu guidelines. The location and orientation of the plot should be carefully considered before commencing the construction. The hotel should be well-ventilated, well-lit, and aligned with Vastu principles.
The pantry or kitchen should be situated in the south-east corner, and other electrical appliances should be placed in this direction as well. The kitchen should be constructed on the ground floor. Visitor’s rooms should ideally be in the south-west direction, allowing them to sleep with their heads towards the south or west. The doors of each room should be in the right direction. Balconies of hotel rooms should face the eastern or northern direction. Toilets should be constructed in the North-West or West. The water source in the hotel should be placed in the north-east. Toilets should be located in the South or West direction. The South-West corner of the hotel should be at a perfect 90-degree angle, the North-East corner should be 90 degrees or less but not more than that, and the North-West/Fire angle should be 90 degrees or more, not less than that.
It is beneficial for the South-West corner of the hotel to be elevated, while the North-East corner should be lower. By adhering to these Vastu guidelines, hotels can create a more positive and welcoming environment for their guests, potentially leading to increased profitability and success.
